The Institute of Networked and Embedded Systems (NES) of the University of Klagenfurt released its annual report 2008. The 100-pages brochure summarizes the major activities of the NES institute in research and teaching.
“The second year of existence [..] was a very important one for us,” institute head Christian Bettstetter says. “We had to reflect on the starting phase and think about what went well and what needs to be improved.” The number of scientific staff members rose from 14 to 25, and the team became truly international, with researchers coming from Austria, Belarus, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Portugal, and Turkey.
