Samira Hayat was one of the few women in Pakistan studying electrical engineering. After obtaining a bachelor degree, she moved to Trento, Italy, and obtained a master degree with focus on wireless sensor networks. She is now a researcher and doctoral student in Bettstetter’s team working on wireless communications for networked unmanned aerial vehicles.
